Getaway Home, Spacious and Smart TVs in All Rooms

My family and I traveled to the Atlanta for the holidays. Upon checking into the home, we noticed that many of the items in the kitchen were not clean specifically dishes, utensils & the drawer under the stove. This drawer looks like it has NEVER been cleaned. Dried up food & whatever else which I am sure causes roaches(have pictures).One of my family members killed one roach in the dinning room area, another family member killed a spider in the downstairs bathroom & the final straw was a huge roach crawling over the microwave/stove area while we were cooking. I quickly contacted the number provided & was able to speak with Jay who was very apologetic of our experience. We advised we that we would be leaving the property & requested a full refund that was provided minus a cleaning fee that I do not believe we should have been charged due to the conditions of the home. Yes, my daughter took a shower as we were trying to get settled in. Please note that each dish/utensil we used, I made sure it was clean as I was raised to clean up after myself & respect people’s space.However, not going to waste my time. Hopefully this company will begin to take pride in their home by taking the time to view the home in between guest in order to ensure proper cleaning.

OVERALL IT WAS A VERY NICE STAY. JUST SOME MINOR THINGS THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. VERY LOVELY HOME AND NEIGHBORHOOD

The property description and pictures make the listing out to be an oasis escape. In reality, thoug there have been some upgrades made to the property (flooring / paint), the carpet is cheap and worn. The bathrooms are outdated and lack ventilation so the humidity is having an effect. The house was not well equipped with limited and uncomfortable furniture. The deck is very small and should not be mentioned as an attraction including the very steep backyard that is not easily accessible and thus not an attraction. There was a smoke detector that was in the basement with a battery dying, we informed someone of the sound and nothing was done and we couldn't access it. We had encounters with some cockroaches as well. Ultimately it's not the worst we've stayed in and given it was just a few guys we were fine, but if we return to the area with spouses, we'll be looking for a different place.
